Vera Weekers

Vera Weekers graduated as a tax lawyer at the University of Maastricht in 1999. Furthermore, she graduated at the same University in Environmental Healthcare. After graduation, Vera worked for over six years as a member of the indirect tax group at Ernst & Young, The Hague, after which she worked as a VAT specialist at Baker Tilly Berk. Subsequently, Vera was connected as VAT advisor to Fiscount for three years, following which she switched over to a corporate setting in 2010, where she worked as internal VAT specialist at the ANWB. In January 2012 Vera joined Taxperience in Den Bosch as VAT advisor.

At Taxperience, Vera works in the field of value added tax and real estate transfer tax. She services a wide variety of clients; both (inter-)national businesses and SMEs. Typical is her practical approach in finding solutions that nevertheless meet the highest technical standards from a VAT point of view. Vera is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Lawyers.

Vera's expertise is in both the profit and the non-profit sector. She gained wide experience in advice at the area of a.o. (inter-)national transactions, real estate matters, assistance in VAT audits, performing VAT (quick)scans to notice opportunities and risks and implementation of a Tax Control Framework. Further Vera is experienced in teaching at the area of value added tax.

In her spare time Vera likes spending time outdoors with her family, she has travelled a lot round the world and likes to read a good book.
