Paul van den Tillaart
Paul van den Tillaart graduated as a tax lawyer from the University of Tilburg after having first obtained a degree in fiscal economics at the School of Business Administration and Economics. Until 2004, Paul handled tax returns for clients at Ernst & Young, following which he joined the general tax practice group at Van den Boomen, where he worked until 2008. Since then, he has been a tax lawyer in the general tax practice of Taxperience, in which capacity he was temporarily posted as an interim European tax manager in 2009.
At Taxperience, Paul dedicates himself to solving issues and problems for clients ranging from 'small' locally operating companies to national and international family businesses and publicly traded corporations. In that setting, Paul likes to team up with internal and external colleagues with divergent backgrounds and is committed to creating maximum added value for his clients.
Paul's expertise and experience are in the fields of both direct and indirect taxation, with a focus on tax subjects such as the participation exemption, fiscal unities, taxation of substantial interests, transfer pricing, and comprehensive (tax) compliance issues. Given his background as a lawyer with vast professional experience combined with university and higher educational degrees in tax and economics, Paul has developed a broad horizon without losing his eye for detail. Paul is a member of the Dutch association of tax lawyers since 2007.
After work, Paul has a busy social life with friends and family, but also likes to jog and play tennis.
