Erik van Peursem

Erik van Peursem graduated as a tax lawyer from the University of Tilburg in 1993.  In 2007 Erik finished the MBA program at the Ambition Academy/Business School in Lausanne.  Whilst studying in Tilburg he started working for Coopers & Lybrand (currently PWC).  In 2004 Erik started working for Baker Tilly Berk where he became a partner in 2009.  As of August 2011 Erik is a partner at Taxperience.

At Taxperience Erik services a wide variety of clients, mainly focussing on larger-sized SMEs and directors who are also substantial shareholders in a company.  Family run businesses have his special interest because of the emotional aspects involved.  Next to a person to turn to for solid tax advise, a tax lawyer often also becomes a trusted third party for various other issues.  As a result of this close relationship these clients can fully benefit from the close cooperation with the notary of Lexperience and the lawyers of Legal experience.  Erik is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Lawyers.

Working in the general tax practice Erik has vast knowledge in all fields of taxation, with an emphasis on personal and corporate income tax.  He also has a special interest in value added tax and transfer tax.  Erik has vast experience with business succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring processes and tax audits.

In his spare time Erik enjoys playing golf, riding his bike, running and skiing.  Erik is also active as a member of the board for various foundations and he is a member of the Rotary Club in Den Bosch.
